Windswept Farm Stay is home to the Colonial Clydesdales

We welcome you come and stay with us in our farm stay accommodation and come and meet the magnificent Clydesdales.

Situated in the beautiful location of Esperance, Windswept Farm Stay is the perfect place to base yourself whilst exploring the region. With beautiful views of the surrounding farmland and the Esperance Bay, Windswept provides peaceful and relaxing accommodation, with the convenience of being located only 10 km from the Esperance townsite.

We are a short drive from some of the beautiful beaches along the Great Ocean Drive, such as Twilight Beach and only a little further from some of world's best beaches such as Lucky Bay. The unspoilt areas of natural beauty such as Cape Le Grande National Park await for you to explore and discover their beauty during the day, returning at night to the serenity of your cottage on the farm.

Our two cottages are fully self contained with kitchen and cooking facilities. The cottages have two bedrooms and can sleep up to six people in each cottage. All linen, bath towels and cooking utensils are provided. Each cottage has a living area with a TV and they have private verandas and table and chairs to sit and relax on and enjoy the views and the magnificent sunsets. There is also a BBQ for our guests use.

We like to spoil our guests by supplying tea, coffee and milk and fresh eggs from our very spoilt chickens for your yummy breakfast.

Farm Stay Rates

One Night

$150 for one night, for up to four people.

Extra guests - $20 per person per night (up to six guests in total)

Two Nights or More

$120 per night, for up to four people.

Extra guests - $20 per person per night (up to six guests in total)

Horse Agistment

We are pleased to be able to offer short term agistment for your horse on Windswept Farm Stay.

Conveniently located only 2km from the pony club grounds, Windswept provides the perfect place to stay with your horse if you are competing at an event in Esperance. It sure beats camping in the cold and rain and our large paddocks provide a great opportunity for your horse to relax in comfort.

If you are visiting Esperance for a show, clinic or a vet appointment we have safe, green paddocks available.

If you are on holiday and would like to bring your horse with you to ride on some of the best beaches in the world then why not stay in one of our cottages, with your horse in the paddock right next door? A perfect holiday!

If you need to leave your horse in Esperance for a short time, then we are able to look after your horse for you, giving it the same love and attention that we give to our Clydesdales. We live on site and so are able to regular monitor and feed your horse.

Accommodation with Dogs

We welcome well behaved, non-aggressive dogs at Windswept Farm Stay, however as we are a working farm we request that they are kept on leads and restrained when outside and that they remain under your control throughout your stay.

Dogs are not permitted inside the cottages. There is a dog run to leave your dogs in when you go out during the day or for them to sleep in at night time.

Conditions apply when staying with your dogs to ensure that no damage occurs and for the safety of the livestock on the farm and the comfort of other guests. Please contact us for these conditions prior to booking.
